Service and outreach are parts of any vital church. There are many opportunities to volunteer within a local congregation teach Sunday school, become an usher, join the choir. Most churches also have outreach efforts in their community help with the soup kitchen, build a house with Habitat for Humanity, plan a religious presence at a protest or community event.
